Summer Style

Kimonos are a must have for the summer, and everyone is wearing them, they are a small jacket kind of garment to use as a throw over an outfit, and you can get all different kinds of styles and patterns. I love this kimono of mine, the pattern is based on the sea; with all the fish and the corals, it adds alot of colour because of the design and it is the perfect range of colours for the summer. This kimono can be either dressed up or dressed down, if im dressing it up; I like to wear it with some nice light denim blue jeans and a coral boob tube, and it can be worn with wedges or heels (any colour; coral, beige, white etc), and I also like to add a nice white and cream necklace along with my white pandora bracelet and rings, adding alot of jewelery can instantly dress up an outfit.
If im dressing the kimono down, I like to wear it simply with a pair of denim high waisted shorts, and a boob tube (any summer colour; white, cream, coral etc), and to dress down the shoes, I like to wear these white block sandals (shown in the picture). For any outdoor occasion, I also love to wear a pair of sunglasses, to give it a more 'summer feel'. Finally, to finish off the outfit, I love to use these two Barry M nail varnishes (shown above), both colours are a perfect match to the kimono and the nail varnishes itself are amazing, I deffinetly reccomend BarryM.

This photo is from my holiday in Lanzarote, I wore this outfit to go out on the night and I simply dressed it down. With this outfit, I wore a thin brown belt and took out a matching brown over the shouler bag, this gives the outfit some matching colours and stands out. If your out somewhere crowded and dont want to take a bag to hold and carry around, this outfit would also go well with a bum bag to hold all your belongings, this then prevents losing the bag and someone taking it from you. I got this kimono from a local shop named Parisia and it was a really good price, if you live local to Middlesbrough then I strongly reccoment this shop.
