"Fashion Fades, Style Is Eternal" - Yves Saint Laurent

I was lucky enough to take part in a trip with Teesside University to the amazing Yves Saint Laurent; Style Is Eternal Exhibition at the Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle last night, So I wanted to share my thoughts on the exhibition with you guys!

The exhibition gives you the great opportunity to take a look into the life and work of the French Fashion designer YSL. Im so glad that something like this has had the opportunity to come to Bowes Museum, as it is the first exhibition in the UK to showcase the work of Yves Saint Laurent, I would expect something as amazing as this to be showcased in London, so to have this so local is such a great experience and for anyone who lives near, I would highly reccomend a visit!

AW Fashion: That Fur Collar

Hey girls, Im trying to save up my money at the minute, which is the result of not many posts, seems as though I havent really got any new outfits to share (heartbreaking I know!), However this outfit is from a few weeks back on one of my shifts at DaintyLou Boutique, and I wanted to share this bargain leather fur collar jacket and one of the ways Ive styled it!

Ive been loving these jackets for so long, but I just havent been willing to pay the expensive prices that they are at retailers such as Topshop and River Island. This bargain was a gift from Matalan, which is one of the few places I thought to search, as I rarely shop there. Considering the price was a lot lower than high street stores, the quality is amazing and it is so comfortable to wear and style with anything.

As I was wearing this for work, I wanted to wear something comfortable but to still look nice. I dug out this black cold shoulder dress which I have worn about 2 times, and I added this brown belt (which is my absolute favourite belt at the minute). I wore this with some plain black tights, along with these beaut brown suede boots which Ive recently purchased and never seem to have off my feet!

I think the fur collared jacket just finishes off this outfit. Im loving fur at the minute for the AW season, so this outfit is one of my best for the upcoming months!
