Unique and Independent: Vintage Vibes of Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough is a lovely town for shopping.. it has some of the most well-known big retailers such as; Debenhams, Topshop, New Look, Miss Selfridge, House Of Fraser, M&S, Primark and many others. However it also has small independent stores which are my personal favourites!

I love shopping at Middlesbrough, I go to Middlesbrough college so i'm always there, and I always make time to have a browse around the shops. Although there are the big brand shops, I think the small independant shops are the ones to visit! 

There is such a range of these unique and vintage shops around the town, which all sell a mix of all the different things a girl loves, including; jewellery, clothing, home accessories, bath essentials, candles, fashion accessories, They sell pretty much everything cute and vintage that a girl admires!

Cinema Attire: Comfy or Classy?

When it comes to going to the cinema, some people like to dress themselves up and make a lot of effort and some people like to dress comfortably.. I sometimes vary my cinema style, as I like to dress nicely but I also want to be comfortable (as your sat in a seat for hours without moving).

So on sunday I went to see the new Fast and Furious, and for anyone who hasnt seen it, I reccomend it so much! I had never watched them before and me and my boyfriend managed to watch them all last week in time to go and see it on sunday.. I didnt think I would enjoy watching them as much as I did, despite crying my eyes out at the end due to the tribute to Paul Walker, which is amazing.

 To keep it classy as well as comfortable, I decided to wear my grey ripped knee jeans along with my roll neck marroon jumper. However, as Im so small, you cant even see the ripped knee in the jeans (short girls, you know). I purchased the jeans from my local BANK in Middlesbrough (before it shut down, which I am still sad about) and they were in the sale at just £14.00. I also got myself a bargain last week with the roll neck jumper; I purchased this in the Topshop sale at £15.00, I have wanted one of these jumpers since december, however I never got round to purchasing one, so I was happy when I seen it in the sale!

With this outfit, I wore my brown Firetrap Ugg Boots, which are so warm and comfortable, as they have so much fur inside of them.. I wear these boots all of the time, especially since they go with a lot of outfits. These boots were also a mega bargain, I got these from USC in the sale a few month back; they were reduced from £120.00 to £40.00 which is a huge saving!

I like this outfit as it is comfortable and warm (as I usually find cinemas freezing!) This outfit is a major bargain outfit to be honest! Every item Im wearing was purchased in the sale!

 And as usual, ofcourse I had to get a Tango Ice Blast, thats like a tradition at the cinema...

Holly Willoughby: SS15 BHS Baby Range

I have always loved baby clothes, I always manage to stop in the shops and take a peek at the cute little items... especially since my boyfriends sister has recently had a baby and I love her to bits! I find baby fashion just so adorable, like who can possibly be that small to fit into the tiny clothes?! Anyway, I have been taking a look at Holly Willoughby's new range of vintage baby clothing for British Home Stores and wow they are beautiful!

Dream Destinations

There is so many places i've got goals to visit, I'm a girl that adores shopping and adores the sunshine, so you can probably guess my favourite kinda places to go.. Ive got quite a few places on my bucket list to visit..

1. New York City (NYC)

Im also a girl that adores the city, I absolutely love London, it is one of my all time favourite places, so im pretty sure I will love New York even more. I've also never been to America, and I would love to do a tour of America, and New York is a definite stop! The atmosphere of the city just looks amazing and so lively, it appeals to me so much. I'm also a huge fan of West End productions in London, so going to see a show on Broadway would be right up my street! Also, I would deffinetly visit all of the amazing shopping destinations such as; Soho, Fifth Avenue, Manhattan, I wouldnt come home empty handed (just an empty purse). Imagine the Victorias Secret (wow)! I cant even imagine how unreal that would be! And Macy's, Bloomingdales, Saks... It seems like a dream! I would also love to take a walk through Central Park, along with visiting the famous Times Square.. NYC is a "must" for me!

Wishlist: High Street Picks

Its approaching that time of year where im struggling to find daily outfits everytime I go into my wardrobe. Its that time of year where you need to look summery yet sill need to be warm.. I thought I would write a spring/summer wishlist of the fashion trends which I think are perfect for this season. Every girl loves to admire different fashion items of what she wishes for.

1. Troubadour Floral Embroidered Pelmet Skirt: Topshop £38.00

I totally admire bright colours, whether its for the summer or the winter. I love the colours on this skirt, they are such warm and inviting colours and would fit right in with the holiday season. I really like the design of the skirt and the pretty patterns embroidered onto it and in the summer,  I would style it with a plain white fitted "boob-tube" and some gold sandals, along with gold accessories. I think the design of this skirt is very bohemian and would also style perfectly if your going for the festival look.

Make Up: Mac Studio Sculpt

Lately everybody has been purchasing Mac makeup, it has gotten so popular recently. I have always used the Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Foundation, however lately I havent been satisfied with it, Im not sure why or whether thats due to a change In my skin, but I thought I would give the Mac Studio Sculpt a try, as Ive heard so many good reports about it..

Hotel Break: Dress To Impress

The reason which I havent made a post in a few days is because I've been away from thursday-saturday at the loveliest hotel located in Allensford, Concert in the North-east. Me and my boyfriend went for a few days break to relax and enjoy ourselves and it was such a lovely break away! The hotel we stayed at was a Best Western Hotel, it was called Derwent Manor. Our room was amazing, my parents payed for it as a treat for us both and they booked the Bridal suite for us, which was absolutely stunning, it wasnt much more to pay for this suite compared to a normal suite; so for anybody going, i strongly reccomend considering this!

MK

Michael Kors is one of my all time favourite designers. i have never owned anything MK, however i have always loved too, i literally torture myself everytime i walk into a store because everything is so unbelievable!

I was so so happy when i recieved these beautiful gifts from my parents, it was a total suprise! I recieved the stunning Jules Drawstring Crossbody bag along with this amazing Rose Gold Watch. I really love the design of the bag, i think it looks unique and the colours used on it are perfect, it looks so rich and classy and it instantly styles an outfit right up!

I also love the design of the watch, i was shocked when i seen it, as im used to seeing the MK watches with the thick link straps and the round watch heads, however i really like it because its different, i also love the colour of the watch, its a rose gold colour which i believe is just a perfect colour for jewellery, it looks stunning with almost everything!

OOTD: Shopping

Today my outfit was so casual and so comfortable, however I tried to make it look as nice as I could by styling it up with some of my favourite jewellery.. I didnt do nothing fancy today, just every girls usual routine; shopping! Which girl doesnt love a good shopping trip?

Fashion Prescription UK

So I am new to becoming an online marketing intern for the gorgeous brand "fashion prescription uk". Im so happy that ive got this role as I can share and write about my favourite items from the brand. They have such amazing items at good prices..

Sewing!

Seen as though I am studying fashion and textiles, I thought I should start posting about my work.. Im coming towards the end of my first year of college now and im enjoying sewing so much! For my first college assignment, I had to construct a garment, so I decided to make a denim layered scallop dress.. it took me so much time and so much stress considering it is the first ever item of clothing I have made, but I was happy with the outcome!
