Make Up: Mac Studio Sculpt

Lately everybody has been purchasing Mac makeup, it has gotten so popular recently. I have always used the Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Foundation, however lately I havent been satisfied with it, Im not sure why or whether thats due to a change In my skin, but I thought I would give the Mac Studio Sculpt a try, as Ive heard so many good reports about it..

I tend to wear fake tan alot, as Im one of those people that cant bare to be pale, so I got a small tester of the SPF 15, NC30 Studio Sculpt from Fenwicks in Newcastle, and I loved how it went on my skin with the fake tan underneath. Compared to the foundation I used to use, it feels so different on my skin, it feels alot more comfortable and less oily. I really like how the colour blends into my skin with the fake tan on underneath (I use St Moriz Medium). It also goes on nice and smooth, and at a nice level of thickness, its not too thin, yet its not too thick where my face feels caked in makeup. I got this foundation at such a bargain, as it is usually £25.00, my mam bought it for me from Manchester airport at just £20.00.

Along with my new foundation, I also wear my old make-up which I have always used. To start with, I use the Benefit Porefessional Primer, which I then follow by applying the Mac Studio Sculpt. Once Ive blended the foundation in, I then apply the Maybelline Superstay 24 Hour Concealer in the light shade (which is the same as my old foundation), followed by using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer on my cheeks. I also use the Benefit Theyre Real Mascara, which I think is brilliant. 

Since buying the Mac Foundation, I feel like my make up is applying so much better and my skin feels alot nicer in general, I really like the outcome it gives. I would reccomend this to anyone who is looking to buy a new foundation. I am also looking to buy some more products from Mac, so when I finally get around to it (Im not sure when as I dont live local to a Mac store), keep a look out for more posts on reviews.
